LEA username and passwords are used for:
- LU Email
- LU Learn (Blackboard)
- LU Hub
- Housing
- Course Evaluations
- Campus Computers
- Virtual Apps
- myScholarships
- Campus Printing
- Wireless Network

I forgot my LEA password or need to reset it.
Use Password Reset
This option will ask you for answers to your 2 security questions to validate your identity.
Use Self-Service Banner
If you don’t know the answers to your 2 security questions, you can still use Self-Service Banner to reset your LEA password. You will need your LamarID and PIN.

- Go to www.Lamar.edu, click LU Connect, click Students or Faculty/Staff, click Self-Serv Banner
- Log
in to Self-Service Banner with your LamarID and PIN - Click Personal Information
- Click Change Your Pin OR Recover LEA Username and Password
- Scroll down until you see your LEA Username
- Click Give me a temporary password
- Write down the temporary password (it is case sensitive) and click OK
- Log in to Password Reset: Type your LEA Username and TEMPORARY and click Log in
- Type your temporary password, new password, and confirm the new password and click OK
I need to change my LEA password.
This option will prompt you for your current LEA username and password and allow you to change your password.
I need to register my LEA account, so I can easily reset my password when I forget it.
Register your LEA account with Password Reset so you can easily reset your password anytime. Login with your current LEA password and set up your security questions now! LEA 2-Step (DUO) enrollment required.
- Go to www.Lamar.edu, click LU Connect, click Students or Faculty/Staff, click Passwords
- Log in to Password Reset: Type your LEA username and password and click Login.
- In the Welcome popup click the Click Here button.
- Select, answer, and confirm 4 security questions from the drop-down boxes then click Next.
- Download the Duo Mobile app from the app store or play store.
- Click Next to begin the LEA 2-Step (DUO) enrollment.
- Click Start Setup.
- Follow the onscreen instructions.
- Then click on Continue to Login. Select Send Me a Push and approve on your phone. This step confirms operation of LEA 2-Step and you will see an enrollment successful message.

in to Self-Service Banner with your LamarID and PIN - Click Personal Information
- Click Change Your Pin OR Recover LEA Username and Password
- Scroll down until you see your LEA Username
I need to change my security questions.
If you need to change your security questions login to password reset with your LEA username and password.

- Go to www.Lamar.edu, click LU Connect, click Students or Faculty/Staff, click Passwords
- Log in to Password Reset: Type your LEA username and password and click Log in
- Click Enrollment
- Click the Pencil Icon next to View my security questions to view your questions.
- Click the Modify button.
- Uncheck the Hide Answer(s) checkbox so you can see what you type.
- Choose your 4 security questions.
- Type your 4 answers.
- Click Update once finished.
- Click Sign Out from the drop-down in the top right corner.
LamarID
LamarID provides access to your personal information, student records, payment, and financial aid information. Your LamarID consist of an upper case L and eight (8) numeric digits. The LamarID Personal Identification Number (PIN) consists of six (6) numeric digits.
LamarIDs and PINs are used for:
- Self-Service Banner
- Online Bill Payment

I forgot my LamarID PIN or need to reset it
You can easily reset your LamarID PIN with Self-Service Banner. Simply enter your LamarID and click Forgot PIN. Be sure to capitalize the L.

I forgot my LamarID.
Current and accepted students can locate their LamarID on the front of their CardinalOne Card or acceptance letter.

I need to change my LamarID PIN
This option will prompt you for your current LamarID and PIN and allow you to change your PIN.

- Go to www.Lamar.edu, click LU Connect, click Students or click Faculty/Staff, click Self-Serv Banner
- Log
in to Self-Service Banner with your LamarID and PIN - Click Personal Information
- Click Change Your Pin OR Recover LEA Username and Password
- Type in your Old PIN (the PIN you just used to log in)
- Type in your New PIN
- Type in your New PIN again to confirm it
- Click Change PIN
I need to create or change my security question, so I can easily reset my PIN when I forget it.
If you know the answer to your security question, you can easily reset your LamarID PIN anytime you forget it.

- Type in your PIN
- Type in your Security Question and Answer
- Click Submit
